Doncaster

Caroline

A great big HELLO to all of our Little Movers families. My name is Caroline and I’m the very proud owner of Little Movers Doncaster.

I’m very excited to join you all on your Little Movers journey and can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you!

I’m a busy Mum & Foster Carer, juggling school runs, getting our children to after school activities alongside working full time. I couldn’t do all of this without the support of my amazing husband. Everything that I do, I do to enhance the life of my family and all the children that I teach.

I feel very privileged to have spent the last 20 years teaching children in Primary Schools across Doncaster. Many of these years have been spent teaching children in Early Years. I’m that crazy teacher in school that has a little idea that snowballs into something huge. I once organised a little Royal Wedding in church for my class and it somehow ended being a full wedding service with afternoon tea for 200 guests in the school hall, with a Haribo ring and Calendar news filming the event!

I’m also a Specialist Educational Needs Teacher working with the most vulnerable children in school. I love finding ways to overcome barriers and creating an inclusive environment, so all children feel valued and special. I love helping children to discover their strengths as every child deserves the opportunity to shine and reach their full potential!

I value and understand the importance of building relationships with families. Little Movers promotes the development of relationships and is what convinced me to take the leap and move my teaching skills beyond the walls of a classroom. I want to be able to deliver Little Movers to as many little people across the Doncaster community as possible and I want to build stronger bonds between parent & child as connection is the key to feeling safe and secure.

I’m very creative and I love to paint and draw. I love to be outdoors and we spend lots of family days exploring the countryside.

Over the years, I have become pretty good at cake decorating. My children have challenged me to make their birthday cakes each year. I have a ‘Skate Park’ request for the next cake, so wish me luck!

My favourite place to be is in the world is in a theatre, singing along to musicals immersed in a story.

I just can’t wait to start dancing and singing my way through every single day and making memories with so many little people and their families along the way. The importance of developing good physical and mental health is key to being a Little Mover. If being active and having fun together is what you want for your family then Little Movers will help you to achieve this.

And so it begins!

“I took my little girl to Little Movers for the first time to the Christmas party and it was so lovely. Kerry was fab and made sure we felt involved in it all (also my older ones that came along too)
We felt very welcome and loved how friendly and fun the session was.
Myah-Rai even got the Dancer of the Day certificate.
We would love to go back again.
Thank you Kerry. ❤️
