After months of training, practising dances, planning and preparing, Little Movers Ayr officially held its very first class on 23rd September!
There were definitely some nerves before the doors opened, but once the music started they quickly disappeared. Seeing our little movers dancing, joining in and having fun with their grown-ups made all the preparation worthwhile.
We even crowned our very first Little Movers Ayr Dancer of the Day! 🌟 He may have been one of our younger movers, but he certainly knew how to dance!
I went into that first class nervous and came out feeling confident, excited and thinking one thing… Let’s do that again! 🌈
A new chapter for Ayrshire
As a mum myself, I wanted to build a business that allowed me to be there for my own children while also creating something special for local families.
My journey was made possible when I became the very first recipient of Geordie’s Scholarship, an opportunity I’m incredibly grateful for. I hope to do it justice by building a fantastic Little Movers community here in Ayrshire.

Our Rainbow Launch Parties continue at Prestwick Community Centre on 28th September, followed by Foresters Hall, Ayr on 3rd October.
After our launch parties, we’ll be releasing our regular weekly classes, with different themes and plenty of dancing, movement, learning and fun!
With October almost here, there may even be something a little spooky in the works… 👻🎃
