We’re so excited to welcome Hannah as our newest Little Movers franchisee, bringing Little Movers to Northern Ireland across Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon. Hannah’s story is about much more than a new business launch. It’s a real example of how carefully we build our Little Movers team and why we believe franchising should never feel like a sales process.
At Little Movers, we don’t sell franchises.
We find the right people.
And we take the time to make sure it feels right for everyone involved.
First Conversations
Hannah first came across Little Movers as part of her own research into franchise opportunities.
She’s a mum to two beautiful girls, Grace and Alice, and works as a Client and Business Coordinator for ALMAC Pharma Services Limited.
Like many of our franchisees, she wasn’t just looking for a business opportunity she was looking for something that would fit around family life, bring purpose to her work, and allow her to be more present for the moments that matter most.
From our very first conversation, it was clear Hannah had done her homework.
She understood what Little Movers was about, asked thoughtful questions, and was also exploring other franchise options at the same time.
We always welcome that.
We believe people should compare, question and take their time before making any decisions.
Because choosing a franchise is a big step and it should never feel rushed.
Getting to Know Each Other
Before Hannah ever stepped into a class or met the wider team, there were lots of conversations behind the scenes.
Emails with Head Office.
Telephone calls.
Zoom chats.
Honest questions about how everything works.
We also introduced Hannah to one of our existing franchisees so she could hear first-hand what life inside Little Movers really looks like.
Not a sales pitch just a real conversation.
We believe this is one of the most important parts of our recruitment process.
It gives people the chance to ask the questions they might not feel comfortable asking Head Office, and hear honest, lived experiences from someone already running a Little Movers business.
The Discover More Day
The next step in Hannah’s journey was her Discover More Day.
This meant travelling from Northern Ireland to the North East of England flying alone, leaving her family for the day, and stepping into something completely new.
When she arrived, she spent the day with our Head Office team, visited live classes, met franchisees, and spoke with families.
It wasn’t about presentations or persuasion.
It was about experiencing Little Movers exactly as it is.
One of the things we always encourage is time spent with our franchisees, without Head Office constantly leading the conversation.
Because they are the people living and breathing the business every day.
And their honesty matters most.
Hannah later shared:
“Not once did I feel like an outsider amongst the regulars. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.”
“I felt comfortable, included and genuinely at home.”
Moments like this are exactly why we do Discover More Days.
It’s not about telling people what Little Movers is like.
It’s about them feeling it for themselves.
Why Hannah Chose Little Movers
There were lots of things that stood out for Hannah during her visit.
The warmth of the classes.
The connection between families.
The sense of community.
The kindness that runs through everything we do.
And our initiatives like Kindness Jars, which encourage children and families to support and uplift one another.
She could also see something really important that there is nothing quite like Little Movers currently in Northern Ireland.
Alongside that, Hannah was looking for something deeply personal too.
A business that would allow her to build something meaningful, while also being more present for Grace and Alice as they grow up.
A business with purpose.
A business with heart.
Making the Decision
After the Discover More Day, there was no pressure.
We don’t rush decisions, and we don’t chase people.
Instead, both sides take time to reflect.
Because joining Little Movers is as much about us choosing the right person as it is about someone choosing us.
Only when everyone feels completely confident do we move forward.
And in Hannah’s case, it felt right on both sides.
Training and Becoming Part of the Team
Hannah returned to the North East for two days of franchise training alongside fellow new franchisee Charmaine.
From the very beginning, they connected instantly sharing ideas, supporting each other and even arranging to go out for dinner together after training.
That sense of connection is something we see time and time again at Little Movers.
People arrive as individuals, but very quickly become part of something bigger.
After training, Hannah shared:
“I couldn’t fault the two days training. It was full on (in a good way) and I feel very much part of the Little Movers family.”
“Melanie is very approachable, thoughtful and kind. Gemma is full of energy and extremely talented at what she does.”
Hannah’s Journey Now
Hannah is now preparing to launch Little Movers in Northern Ireland.
She’s already building her social media presence, planning her launch, attending our events, and getting involved in our Little Movers community activities.
She’s thoughtful, driven, organised and incredibly passionate about creating something special for families in her area.
But most importantly, she cares.
And that’s what matters most to us.
