We are absolutely delighted to share some wonderful news!
Kim from Little Movers Gateshead Central and East has secured funding through the Pride in Place Programme to provide free Little Movers classes at Wrekenton Family Hub.
Little Movers began in Felling Children’s Centre over 18 years ago, so family hubs will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We are incredibly proud that, all these years later, we are still working in partnership with them and supporting families across our local community.
Thanks to this fantastic funding, more local children and their grown-ups will be able to enjoy Little Movers completely free of charge. Our classes bring families together through movement, music and play, while helping little ones develop confidence, coordination and important early skills.
Beacon Lough and Wrekenton have been selected to receive significant investment and support over the next ten years through the Pride in Place Programme. The programme is being shaped by the priorities of local residents, businesses and community organisations, with the aim of creating lasting improvements across the area.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone involved for giving Little Movers this opportunity. Kim cannot wait to welcome lots of lovely new families to Wrekenton Family Hub and share the fun, friendship and happiness that Little Movers brings.
