Meet Kirsty
Hi! I’m Kirsty Day, the proud owner of Little Movers Halifax and a very happy mum to two amazing children — one wonderful daughter and one energetic little boy.
Finding Little Movers has been life-changing for me. It’s given me the opportunity to spend more time with my family while helping other families create their own special memories. I’m so passionate about helping children grow in confidence, coordination, and creativity through movement and play — and I can’t wait to welcome you to class!
A little about me: In my younger days, I spent a month traveling solo in Malta, where I met incredible people — including a friend who fondly called me her “English teacher.” I also volunteered with a charity called Latitude, living in a rural village in Ghana for three months. There, I taught lessons on self-care and helped organize a community football event that brought the whole village together — one of my proudest achievements!
Every experience has shaped who I am today, and I bring that same energy, warmth, and community spirit to every Little Movers class.

Polly and I loved our little movers / baby movers sessions. We attended them through the sure start family learning scheme and loved every one we attended. It was a different theme every week, but whilst having continuity with certain songs and routine. The sessions are planned very well and they incorporated lots of different activities and skills whilst singing and having fun. Kirsty is so enthusiastic, her classes are welcoming and her personality Really shines through into her classes which is why we continued to attend.
