When Gemma joined Little Movers in July 2017, she was searching for more than just a job  she wanted a career that offered flexibility, family balance, and personal fulfillment. With her husband Peter away in the Army most weeks, Gemma wanted to be present for her two young children, Jack and Molly, for school runs, nativity plays, and sports days. Little Movers gave her exactly that.

With a background in performing arts, including dancing in Disney parades, and years of experience teaching adult fitness, Gemma brought the perfect combination of creativity, confidence, and energy to her new venture. When she first attended a Little Movers class with her children, she knew immediately that it was the right fit  her journey as a franchisee had begun! ✨

As our second ever franchisee, Gemma quickly grew her business part-time, with classes consistently sold out and a glowing reputation that required very little marketing. Over the years, she has earned national and in house awards, and become known for her positivity, energy, and enthusiasm the kind of person everyone loves to work with. 💃

As her children grew, so did Gemma’s role. She is now our Training Manager, mentoring both new and existing franchisees, creating engaging content, and helping others build successful businesses. This year, she even sold her franchise territory for a profitable exit, knowing it was the right time to focus on Head Office and new opportunities.
